I simply can't believe how time flies here at Civic League Day Nursery. It seems just like yesterday when we were meeting with our Master Gardeners about what to plant where and how we were going to handle the bunnies from over munching on our beloved plants.
Harvesting time has become quite busy around here. During their playtime, the children frequently ask, " can I pick" or "this one looks good" with permission and guidance on which tomatoes are ripe they are able to pick fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggplant right off the plant.
We are continue learning in our garden and look forward to planning next years. Watch us grown into another year.
