THE IMPACT OF YOUR GIFT

For more than 85 years, Civic League Day Nursery has dedicated itself to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children of working parents. Your tax-deductible gift supports this mission so that we can continue to offer enriching educational programing, maintenance on our registered historic home, teacher/educator training and reduced tuition and scholarships for low-income households to ensure all children have a successful start to their future.

Your generosity makes it possible for Civic League Day Nursery to exist and make the community a great place to live and grow. Your commitment ensures our success for another 85 years.

With a little thought the idea of a gift becomes a reality. We have a dream to provide care in a nuturing environment filled with nature and love while promoting the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children of all cultural and economic backgrounds.

As a non-profit provider of quality, early childcare and educational readiness, your tax-deductible contribution allows us to offer reduced tuition and scholarships for low-income households to ensure all children are prepared for a successful future. At Civic League, children come first. Your donations will help to ensure we continue to nurture and grow our community’s youngest for years to come through enrichment opportunities like field trips, staff training and playground upkeep.

The legacy that Civic League continues to leave is unsurpassed. Pause a moment and imagine the countless children and families that have been nurtured and cared for since 1930. Think of the historic space we’ve occupied since 1975, the gracious Balfour home with its many rooms and levels that truly “hugs” us as we spend our days here. The lovely yard and gardens for the children and the huge Ash and Coffee trees that grace us with their presence, not to mention the awesome hill for sledding! Pause and think of all the staff who have touched a child or family by their caring and commitment to Civic League’s mission and ideals."

Contributions from our donors allow us to invest more for our children and our community. Your support allows us to fund education enrichment programs, field trips and healthy meals through our participation in farm-to-table initiatives. Additionally, support allows us to maintain our historic home-which is conveniently located in Rochester, close to Mayo Clinic, and has been preserved and recognized on the National Register of Historic Places.
